The last two weeks have been hard on the Northern Lights hunters. There have been winds exceeding 140 mph and snowstorms with a lot of cloud cover. When the clouds or snow cover the sky it is impossible to see the Aurora. But yesterday we spotted a little break in the weather and decided to go ahead and give it our best. We were rewarded with a show of the Northern Lights. As we were driving back to the city the wind started to blow once again and the clouds closed in showing us just how small we are. The force of mother nature is something else and a magnificent display of power. To experience the sheer power and ferocity gives a feeling of awe. Due to our capable vehicles we are fortunate enough to be able to go out when the other tours cancel and are rewarded for our efforts.
